Legal Study: Discrimination in Provision of Environmental Services in East Jerusalem


This legal study, titled "Discrimination in Provision of Environmental Services in East Jerusalem," investigates the systematic discrimination faced by Palestinians in East Jerusalem regarding environmental services. The study is part of the "Drivers of Change: Community Empowerment for Environmental Protection in East Jerusalem" project, implemented by the Palestinian Environmental NGOs Network in cooperation with OVERSEAS and co-funded by the European Union. The research study aims to highlight and analyse the disparities between East and West Jerusalem in service delivery, focusing on zoning and planning, budget allocations, solid waste management, wastewater treatment, water availability and quality, and transportation infrastructure.
