PENGON and its partners under the Drivers of change project have accomplished 4 days training session on the period of 3rd of June till 6th of June 2024, This training targeted the teachers of public and private schools in Jerusalem Governorate, which included ToT for teachers with 2 day theoretical activities, 1day practical workshop, and 1day tour to eco- farm.
List of participating schools Al Nahda School, Al Ezarya female school, Al Ram female school, Shufat girls school 1, Shufat girls school 2, Shufat boys school, Masqat boys school, Bab Elseelseleh school, TerraSanta mixed school. Also representatives of the ministry of education – Jerusalem suburb benefited from these sessions.
The training covered the topics of sustainability, sustainable consumption, waste management, recycling, while another set of topics to be covered in the second stage of the training including: climate change, environmental entrepreneurship, environmental leadership.
