PENGON Launches New Website
Welcome to PENGON's new website, www.pengon.org!The site is a work in progress, though information about our mission and activities, as well as members are already posted. We encourage you to read more about us and join our mailing list, where information pertaining to the Palestinian environment, PENGON, and the website will be sent out.
We see this website as a powerful tool in which information can be disseminated and shared. Such information will need to cover, on a large scale, the current destruction the Palestinian people face on a daily basis. Action alerts will be posted on the site as well as any updated information on what is happening to the Palestinian environment. We hope that the website will encourage people throughout the world concerned with justice and the environment to visit us regularly, give us feedback, and spread the word. At the same time, the site is also to be utilized as a means in which the PENGON members, the majority of local Palestinian environmental NGOs, can facilitate cooperation and coordination.
Let us hope that the site can meet these challenges and that it plays a contributive role to ceasing destruction and violations. Please join us in this challenge.
