PENGON Celebrate World Environment Day 2009 (WED) under the slogan” Our Planet Need You”
 PENGON-FOE Palestine in collaboration with Environment Quality Authority(EQA)  has launched series of activities in the occasion of  World Environment Day  on 4th  June in Ramallah city. The activities were lectures discussed the impact of climate change in our country, and how we can combat climate change by every individual's efforts, no matter how small. The participants were , individuals, organizations’ employees, community and youth groups , each of them called a slogan to protect our environment and paint it on a balloon which was flown  at the end of the ceremony.

25- May- 2009

PENGON Participate in the General meeting of Asia Pacific ( FOE-APAC)  in Bangladesh  
 PENGON took place in the regional meeting that discussed the regional environmental Campaigns,  analyze the weakness, strength points , SWAT analysis were discussed by APAC members to develop  Strategic plan.

In this meeting PENGON became a member in the steering committee of the APAC Region that is called MAJLES.

PENGON organizes a workshop for PENGON Strategic Plan Development 

Palestinian Environmental NGOs Network (PENGON), held a workshop for Strategic plan development in Ramallah . SWOT analysis were discussed by PENGON members .

PENGON- FOE Palestine Participates in WSF in Brazil

PENGON-FOE Palestine represented by Mr. Moammar Orabi  , recently attended World Social Forum which was held in Belem / Brazil between 27 January – 1 Feb.   Mr. Orabi showed a presentation about Environmental Crisis in Gaza as a result of Israeli War.

PENGON- FOE Palestine Publishes 2008 Report

Recently PENGON-Palestine Finalized a comprehensive overview of its major activities and environmental campaigns. The Report contains photos taken during  actions and summarizes PENGON activities during  2008.

PENGON calls to form an international investigation committee to visit the areas that were hit by the Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip, and to document the Israeli violations against human rights and international humanitarian law

PENGON  Publishes  2007 Annual Report

Recently PENGON- FOEPalestine compiled a comprehensive overview of its major activities and the environmental campaigns that curried out by the Network during 2007. The Report contains main campaigns, local & International meetings and future plannings.

    • PENGON is preparing for the elections of the Executive committee to be held this month.
  • EEC in cooperation with PENGON announced the start of the” Artistic Environmental Competition”.
  • PENGON formed environmental committees in the Palestinian universities.
  • PENGON opened the environmental art exhibition at Bir Zeit University in honor of visitors from the Friends of the Earth international
